About Rampart Studio

Rampart Studio is an independent American watchmaking workshop dedicated to reviving and reimagining mechanical timepieces. We design and craft new watches with much of the fabrication done in-house, with particular focus on dial work and finishing.

Alongside original designs, we operate at the intersection of restoration, craftsmanship, and modern design — giving historic movements and overlooked components a second life in watches meant to be worn today.

OUR WORK

Our work often begins with remarkable pieces of horological history: vintage movements, gold numerals, or forgotten parts from another era of watchmaking. Rather than letting them disappear into scrap or storage, we restore, regulate, and rebuild them into watches with bold, contemporary character.

Every Rampart Studio watch is built in our workshop, where traditional watchmaking meets experimental design. Some pieces are refined and minimal. Others are loud, colorful, or intentionally irreverent.

We produce in small batches, often with one-off materials or designs that can never be repeated. Rampart Studio is about exploration, not mass production.
